KNITTING: A simple bed jacket and bedsocks knitting pattern for these charming vintage pieces. They are lovely winter warmers, but still dainty and very easy to knit. The bedjacket is tied at the neck with a ribbon bow and is made in easy garter stitch and eyelet lace pattern rows; minimal sewing up is required as it is constructed all in one piece.
It is edged with simple crochet shells stitch-but a knitted picot could easily be substituted.
The bed socks are very easy, made in garter stitch (all plain) with jaunty folded construction and trimmed with tassels.
