CROCHET: Party like it’s 1963 with this fabulously retro poodle bottle cosy!
These kitsch guys (and all items ‘poodle’) were a real “thing” in the sixties - they pop up in several pattern versions. I have another in a tea cosy knitting leaflet (WZ904) and one with some toys and balaclavas-a random but possibly useful selection! (WZ543)
So- this season you can jazz up your drinks with this fun [but otherwise useless] crochet creation… or make it as an amusing gift for someone who has everything else they need!!
These are quite quick to whip up; made originally with number 5 crochet cotton, and mainly in chain mesh and pom poms. The pompoms take a lot of cotton, so you may wish to use yarn instead for an even quicker project.
