KNITTING: CROCHET: this is an unusual tea cosy-made in a double layer for extra insulation.it is made in 4 pieces, with a plain under layer and fancy upper layer. The 2 layers are joined with a tie through holes in the top. The upper layer is made in chevron and eyelet panels –“petals” and it has openings for the handle and spout.
(The bell finish on the ties is crocheted-but knitted ones can be done instead; I have given a suggestion for this.)
