KNITTING: A charming vintage knitting pattern for several tea cosies. All three designs are knitted in simple rib patterns, and then trimmed; two given in two sizes.
One is trimmed with crochet chain loop flowers on a knitted garden “disc lid”; one is trimmed with felt flowers (very unusual!) and one has a traditional big pompom ( or pompon as it used to be known!).
Two tea pot sizes are given for both of the floral cosies which are made in 3ply; the pompom cosy is in 4 ply and just one size. However you can use what you have and vary the cast on amount to fit your own teapot.
The felt flower creation has a cute matching egg cosy - but you could easily use this as a basis for adapting the pattern and make a matching egg cosy for either of the others.
