CROCHET: This charming vest or waistcoat (or sometimes called a sleeveless jacket) was a 70s staple. Still very useful and wearable now it is made top down; so it is easy to alter the length, and it therefore has a pretty scalloped hemline. (It can be made as a short bolero style too-just stop when long enough!) The various sizes are simply achieved by using different yarn weights and hook sizes and the shell stitch lace is very easy.
