CROCHET: This is the “G0lden Hands” version of a standard “granny Square” crocheted patchwork waistcoat ( or vest ). It includes instructions for making the triangular half square at the neck.
62 squares are needed for this hip length-but it can be made as short or as long as you wish but adding or subtracting a whole row of the granny squares. It is a great stash buster pattern for using oddments, or can be done to a colour scheme. Either way it is fun for festivals or just as a warm layer - and “on trend” again.
Very easy to make; a great starter project- and I will include my own photo tutorial for a granny square and other notes to help... and a chart for the layout I have made( the original does not have one). I am happy to help via email too.
