Two pretty vintage tea cosies in popular vintage looks.
KNITTING: A crinoline lady with a frilled skirt around a china doll body is a traditional design. However this pretty style of riched frills would also work without the dioll-maybe some flowers or a pompom instead.
CROCHET: A pretty pop over style tea cosy crocheted in “short row” sections around and with added “Irish crochet” roses around the bottom. Very pretty and easier than it looks!
The top is gathered and finished with a “bone ring” covered in yarn-but a plastic or metal ring would be a substitute for today!
