KNITTING: This is a 1960s traditional simple bed jacket with two variations on the neckline.
One jacket has a small collar; the second bedjacket has a round neckline which is drawn up with a narrow ribbon, tied in a bow.
Both of them have fashioned raglan sleeves with softly gathered cuffs and buttons down to mid bustline, then fall open to the hem; the edges of both of these parts are made in a ripple garter stitch. The front is worked in a lace and plain pattern in vertical stripes.
Both versions are easy to wear in bed or for an invalid or elderly person.
