KNITTING: this is a traditional and classic bed jacket design in a pretty but easy knitted stitch pattern of eyelet lace alternated with bands of moss (seed) and moss stitch edges (this is not very clear on the old photo but you can just make it out in my “enhanced” cropped image here). It has a square yoke with a round neckline tied with a bow and it falls open from this. The wide sleeves are finished at three quarter length sleeves, which is very practical in bed or for invalids.
