CROCHET: A super easy, traditional 70s hippy style poncho; made in chunky looking treble (US DC) groups and fringed around the edge granny stitch poncho. This one is a great first project. It is crocheted from the neckline downwards to a short fringe and (at last) made “in the round” (so no sewing up).
One of the essential festival items (this looks great as a stash buster in a rainbow of colours as an eccentric but eco-friendly bit of fun cosiness) or just as great in one colour for a more discreet warm layer in cool weather.
