CROCHET: Easy instructions for the classic and popular “granny stitch” poncho, in 2 sizes.
This is a very easy stitch, just rows of UK tr (US dc) groups, and stripes can be made as desired (separate amounts are given for the versions shown, including for the fringe).
It is made as 2 pieces but you could easily work it seamlessly-in the round. Instructions are also given for a gathered, tied and tasselled cord neckline (optional).
Two sizes are given for an adult and child as the image shows (hence “mother and daughter”!)
