CROCHET: this 70s waistcoat pattern from Lister was one of their fashion design range, “the crochet set”. It makes a pretty layer for daywear as shown, or maybe made in natural cotton for a festival or the beach. It is buttoned from the high round neckline as far as the bustline, falling open down to the hip length hem.
The lace stitch looks intricate but is basically just 3 easy rows, and quick to make in (UK) DK (light worsted/8ply).
