KNITTING: two different and very vintage style bed jackets to knit. They were printed in the traditional “silver booklet” format of Patons and Baldwin’s Beehive publications.
Both of the bedjackets have a common style of deep ribbed waist welt, three quarter length sleeves with a cardigan format buttoned front.
View one bed jacket-the front cover view- is knitted in a lozenge and diamond eyelet lace stitch. It has a deep Peter pan collar tied with a satin ribbon bow and raglan sleeves.
View two-the back cover view- has a deep “V” neckline with ribbed bands widening into a shawl collar effect, and square inset sleeves. The lace stitch it is knitted in is very unusual and really lovely. (It is one for your stitch library-useful for other projects).
