Two baby blankets made in standard UK DK (USA light worsted) weight, one knitted one crocheted.
Nice projects as gifts or to make while waiting for baby!
CROCHET: The crochet one is a fairly standard “granny square” design but its border has an unusual twisted edge trim.
KNITTING: This stunning blanket is knitted in a very unusual stitch pattern set in panels separated by simple garter stitch (all plain) bands. I don’t think I have seen anything similar so baby would have something quite unique with this one!
