KNITTING: This is a lovely poncho in an “on trend” style with a Chunky roll collar-very practical. This is a knitted take on the very similar looking crochet one that is so popular at the moment. A great style, even though it is 70s vintage! . Even the (optional) fringe is a nice sensible one, in proportion and not too over the top!
The design is made in an easy slip stitch pattern, and in 4 pieces which makes it a manageable project. However you could easily knit it all in the round as one piece (or 2, if preferred) to avoid seaming
The collar is picked up from the finished poncho part.
