CROCHET: A stunning crochet lace sweater with beautiful shaping. The intricate looking lace is actually an easy 4 row pattern and the overall effect is very feminine and – in a plain yarn- quite subtly sexy. (It is such a shame it is shown in the seventies horror invention space dyed yarn.) This unfortunate combo of yarn and colour choice of yarn shown looks like she was a brave survivor of a dramatic incident-possibly involving a large bird (or human) with an upset tummy. Such a shame as I usually love those colours too!
Moving on; the close to the body longline shaping is a typical style of the early 70s, as are the three quarter length sleeves and a narrow square neckline.
All in all a wearable little number-and comfortable in 4ply (UK) Yarn.
