KNITTING: A pattern for a man’s raglan sleeved, pullover sweater (or Jumper) in a retro style with a high “crew” neckline. It is knitted in an offset rib type of stitch, sometimes called “mistake rib”, which gives a rich texture without being too heavy (the reverse of the knitting looks the same as the front). The raglan shaping has interesting “fully fashioned” detailing, the cuffs and welt are in plain ribbing and the neckline has a folded edge. A perfect ,classic garment- with subtle retro syle.
The yarn was between an Aran /worsted and a chunky/bulky, with good “loft”; I have included a photo of a ball of it with the pattern.
