KNITTED: A pattern for a bed jacket knitted in an unusual knitted lace stitch which resembles broomstick crochet work. The rows of very open threads are formed by yarn overs followed by deliberately controlled “dropped stitches”; an easy repetitive stitch that looks very intricate! The design has very full wrist length sleeves with ribbed cuffs. The small plain yoke has a high neckline, and is knitted as part of the body pieces, in easy stocking stitch (stockinet). The bedjacket is buttoned as far as the bust line only but otherwise has a classic cardigan style shape..
Knitted in a UK 4ply weight ( sportweight).
