CROCHET: This interesting design uses triangle motifs crocheted in the same way the ubiquitous “granny squares” are made. It is called ‘Patriot Triangles’; so I am guessing it is was intended as one perfect for citizens of the USA; but also in UK, France… and many other countries with a red white and blue schemed flag! (Not to mention any nautical themed room!)
Of course it can be made in any colours- those of your country’s flag if you too are a patriot of somewhere else… or of your favourite team, or maybe just choose colours you like. It is also a perfect stash buster for oddments and scraps you happen to have [in true vintage granny blanket style]!
