KNITTING: A “his and hers” unisex knitted cardigan jacket in 70s Starsky style covering 32-42 inch chest sizes. The style from Mexico was made popular by Marilyn Monroe and the original Mexican patterning is more obvious in this bicoloured version. The yarn name plays on this as “Aztec Homespun” (They really worked that one-adding in another popular 70s buzzword as well as the Mexican link!)
It has the wrapped front and belted style with a roll collar ribbing; with good construction details like raglan sleeves and inset pockets it looks great even made unpatterned.
