CROCHET: This sleeveless casual dress is a true sixties look; my Sindy doll had almost this exact “hipster” style in pink in the first 6 outfits produced for her! The full skirt from the dropped waistline- almost hip level really- swung out from under the straight down body line; it was great for dancing! A perfect party style!
It is crocheted upwards and downwards from that low waist/hipline emphasized with a cluster stitch detail. This makes it easily (and usefully) altered for length and adaptable as a tunic; but it is a lovely light hearted summer dress, lovely for daywear, events or festivals equally.
