CROCHET: A pattern for a stunning, and sexy, bikini with an unusual top in a lace pattern created with star (or flower) motifs. The high side panties are quite modest and are edged around the hip with the same motifs. You could easily add or take away rows of the plain crochet part to get the depth of pantie you need; this would work well as an ‘on trend’ high waist style bikini. It works up quite quickly as it is in a thicker thread ( see tension/measurement image here ). The motifs could be made as a multi-coloured stash buster for a more colourful look; but plain white would also look stunning! The top would be nice on its own with shorts or skirt for a pretty summer festival look; or stitched onto a deep and gathered cotton strip for a beautiful maxi dress (or even a summer wedding dress). The motifs also make nice decorations or bunting garlands… if bikinis season is over!
