CROCHET: A stunning and unusual pattern for a short cape or capelet. It is constructed in panels of crocheted flower and leaf motifs.
This pattern is very detailed and produces a beautiful garment; although the individual floral motifs could be used on anything! The motifs are worked into shaped bands around the yoke, then the panels are made and joined together in a lace stitch, so they radiate down from the neckline.
It is designed as an heirloom evening wear piece-but could be used as a scrap buster project for some very colourful ( if slightly eccentric ) everyday cosiness !
