KNITTING: This is a beautifully simple but very effective vintage design for a man’s chunky pullover (or bulky sweater).
It is an easy garment to knit, making it ideal for new knitters (or knitters in a hurry!*) but there is enough interesting stitch detailing to prevent boredom. The yoke and a central front panel are done in rib, as are the cuffs; with the sleeves are just finished on the top with an almost straight edge, so all very easy.
Any man would surely be pleased with its warm and unfussy style (and good one to borrow if you are a girl LOL).
*The pattern uses “M1”speedy yarn... a reference to the first “motorway” built in England!
