KNITTING: This easy knitting toy pattern is a fun one to use as a first knitting project –maybe with a little help!
The simple shapes of a ladybug, flat cartoon cow and woolly hedgehog are embellished with felt shapes-although you could make it all with knitting and embroidery with some easy alterations-if you wish. (I have made notes for this in the pattern)
The hedgehog is made as a sewn felt shape and pompom-so is not suitable for small children to play with ( the yarn threads are not secure enough). However they are great fun to make as a craft project with older children.
