The longline sleeveless cardigan, or tunic, was a favourite 70s piece and is still very useful for layering, with its crisp stich and neat little belt.
The poncho is quite densely textured for the beach- but perfect for keeping warm in cooler locations; and bobble trim is right back in fashion!
These are both great basic patterns - even in dayglow orange !
