CROCHET: A crochet mini dress with a classic sixties Mod shape; “A” line with a contrast yoke. This fresh, simple and pretty shift dress is a comfortable version of the iconic shape-much easier to wear than the same look sewn in non- stretch fabric (trust me on this, I had to make and wear one in fabric, as a school sewing project)!
Created in a good range of sizes, in the then popular “mother and daughter” format; you can make this cute dress very easily, with or without a contrast or striped yoke. The short sleeve is very feminine, but overall it is a modest non- fussy little dress, in pretty crochet but in a stitch with good opacity.
It would also make as a sweet little summer top or jumper.
