CROCHET: this rather groovy, granny square trimmed, pantsuit could have been designed today, but it is another fab pattern from the 70s.
On trend now as it was then with those signature boho elements; the bare midriff, full sleeve gathered to a cuff and flared trousers (pants). Trimmed with pretty flower granny squares and crocheted in an easy “V” stitch” groups. Awesome!
This was part of a set designed by Sirdar-their “trendsetter” collection. A group of these were photographed in these sand dunes with the small –very disgruntled boy .(It all looks a bit too much for the little lad- he is in is the model’s shadow in more ways than one, poor little chap!) It is a little odd-was he the photographers’s child-a stray local...sent by an agency by mistake ...I would love to know.
