CROCHET: A pretty dress for both mums and daughters in a gorgeous lacy cobweb effect with a pretty picot hemline. It looks stunning made in these two delicate greys; but would look great all in black for evening [or a Halloween costume] or in white and pastels for weddings. It is a versatile pattern and easy to crochet in this great size range.
There are two different dainty stitch patterns and the slightly raised waistline (very 60s style) is accentuated by continuing the bodice pattern into the initial row of the skirt colour. The skirt is worked downward from the completed bodice so it is easy to adjust and fit.
The picot edge is pretty in a contrast but alternatively it can be done in the main colour instead.
