CROCHET: An iconic, early seventies, flared A-line mini dress in mod style. Very easy to make, and to wear! A great retro look with flute sleeves to just below the elbow-unusual-and useful-in a crochet dress pattern.
Sleeves and hem are both trimmed in chunky lace.
It is quite mini length, and as a good chunk of the already short hem is in a see through lace, quite daring!

It is nice just as it is for summer days, if a synthetic/cotton mix yarn is used. ( It could be made sleeveless summer dress- or even make up as a fabulous short skirt.)
However it makes a great mid-season tunic over trousers (pants) too, especially made in cosy woolly yarn as shown.
(The pattern was published with a handy mini “how to crochet” article, if you just want to have a go and start crocheting!) I am always happy to help too.
