This dress is worked in a simple A line shape which shows off the beautiful openwork leaf shapes (so it will probably need a lining or slip- unless worn on the beach or a festival, or the perfectly formed-and bold!).
The yoke is made first, upwards to the neckline/shoulders then the skirt worked down from it; so length can be easily adjusted. It would also make as a very pretty summer top.
Sized for “mothers and daughters”, (but apart from bridesmaids it is probably better for only one of them at a time; in my experience not many daughters care to have their Mum in a duplicate outfit- once past the adoring toddler stage).
