CROCHET: Hoorah! A vintage crochet pattern that covers some larger sizes- 38 to 44 inches bust and 40 to 46inch hips. This lovely crochet pattern is an easy to make and comfortable to wear set that looks very current despite its age! A 1970’s classic look of a cool (in both senses of the word) ensemble of simple tunic with a crocheted belt and pants or trousers.
The trousers (pants) have an elasticated waist and are on trend for the crochet styling but a little more wearable than a very open lace stitch. Make the tunic on its own, maybe slightly longer for daywear with leggings or jeans.
Both are worked top down (ie shoulders or waist; to hemline) for easy adjustment in an easy treble crochet (US double crochet) block pattern for a firm dense fabric.
