KNITTING: Here’s a sweet little number for summer or winter, just change the yarn; and possibly the colour, unless it is Saint Patrick’s Day, or you are off to the Emerald City!
Just kidding, green is actually my favourite colour, but the original photo is hand coloured, giving it a flat tone.
This has the appearance of lace, but is actually knitted in a very simple and easy “trellis stitch” pattern.
Although it has a button through front band, I think this would also work with buttons just on the waist rib, as it is quite fitted.
DK (worsted) wool
Tension given as 14st and 20rows to 4inches/10cm
