KNITTING: A charming vintage toy pattern for a Bonte bunny and her baby; plus a lettuce! This is a nicely shaped sitting bunny, in 2 sizes. However there is only one set of instructions; the baby is made the same but in thinner yarn, so he comes up smaller.
The bunny is very characterful with a lovely head shape; you need quite a lot of care to sew the shape up from the pieces but it is not too difficult if you follow the detailed instructions.
Designed in 1961 by Barbara Barlow for a (More) Hobbie toys booklet. Later hayfield published the whole family and some more vegetable grub (see WZ Pattern 00082).
