KNITTING: This little mouse would be a lovely cuddly, alternative to a traditional teddy or bunny knitted toy. Actually, at 13 inches high this is quite a big mouse; if you like smaller toys I have a couple of smaller versions (search the website for” mouse” or "mice") .
It is from a Bazaar knitting booklet; these were the mainstay of many church or school fairs- but you will have to make your own version of Ms Mouse these days, as sadly you rarely see so much time invested in handwork for buying at such fairs today.
However it is easy to make – just knitted in garter stitch, or ‘plain’ knitting every row.
