KNITTING: A cute knitted dog, “faithful friend”, designed as a ‘shelf sitter’. However he looks a little sad; and there is no need to sew his arms together. He can be left as a toy, with his limbs loose (seems kinder somehow! I can’t bear to think of him stuck like that all night while the other toys socialise)!
Maybe that is why he looks so resigned!
His clothes are knitted on as part of the whole toy and all the knitting is in plain stocking stitch ( alternate knit and purl rows) or garter stitch (every row knit no purl stitches) so he is nice and easy to knit.
