KNITTING: A rare set of “four gay tea cosies” knitting patterns on scraps of faded newsprint from some pages of a weekly magazine for women. Printed in October 1957 they were aimed at knitters wanting to make gifts or bazaar knits “in time for Christmas giving”! We are told they are “easy knitting” and to “Be sure to use bright colours” !
Each one is different in some lovely textured knitting- with a selection of bobbles, ribbon and crocheted flower trims.
