KNITTING: A lovely vintage knitting pattern for making 3 different traditional tea cosies with adorable matching egg cosies. All are pop over style and very textured, to keep things nice and warm over breakfast.
ONE is a brioche rib (yellow) set which is easy and quick to make.
TWO; Also one in the very traditional “fluted” ridge design in garter stitch; shown in a blue and white check colour layout –although just using two contrasting colours (for alternative ribs) is more usual. Of course it could be made in one colour or multi-coloured horizontal stripes too.
THREE: Last of all-a jazzy slip stitch pattern gives a colourful retro look or vintage effect-depending on the colour scheme. You can see two variations in the image. This was republished with new styling and colourways to update it (interesting for students of social history)!
