KNITTING: A knitting pattern for SOME useful items for keeping warm and cosy; a teapot cosy with a “warming nest”, a hot water bottle cover and comfy bedsocks!
These are traditional “bazaar knits” or fundraising items from the 50’s,60’s and 70’s (I have 3 versions of this pattern leaflet from Sirdar spanning several decades). The actual knitting instructions for them are identical-but the leaflets are revamped over time.
(The subtle changes in typesetting design, font, colour choices and some of the accompanying writing is fascinating if you are interested in the social history of these items!)
I have included a comparison sample of all three in the PDF. That should keep the cold away nicely between them.
