CROCHET: A set of fab, funky, retro cushions (pillows) to make in simple mesh stitch, embellished with crochet flower shapes, or just with a huge tassel!
The basic crochet mesh is made first then it is covered with shapes crocheted and appliqued on to form various patterns [such as the flowers shown]. The round cushion is left uncluttered to show off the geometric pattern of the crochet mesh- with a huge central tassel added so is right on trend! Just like it was in the seventies!
These colourful pillows or cushions have been featured in “Simply Crochet” magazine as they are such fun to make and east crocheting for a great effect.
You could also just use the motifs to decorate a cushion you already have; these would be stunning in bright colours outlined in black on coloured cushions…
