CROCHET: A useful variation on the Tea cosy and bed sock sets found in many older patterns as these items were more usually knitted.
The combination seems a little odd to modern eyes- for padding down to make tea in the morning –but keen to co-ordinate ones bedsocks to the breakfast tea pot? However they were (are?) both popular items for sale of work or “bazaar” knitting.
Either item is still good on a cold day –or evening-and add some retro style to cosy up with.
The frilled tea cozy and two, plain or fancy styles of bedsocks ( his and hers maybe-I love the blue or pink colour clue) are all easy and quick to crochet( worked at just 4st to the inch).
