TWO pretty baby blankets suitable for a pram, buggy or cot; one crocheted, one knitted.
CROCHET: the crochet blanket is made from octagonal motifs with smaller infill medallions. The crochet motifs are quite easy and look lovely in a regular colour pattern as shown, or in a random multi-coloured layout using up oddments from your “stash. They are sewn together, so a good project for portability; however you could easily crochet them “join as you go”, if you prefer to.
KNITTING: the knitted blanket also used colour to enhance the waffle textured surface; it would even work in just one colour too.
They are good basic little blankets, in quite small sizes; however both can easily be made larger if wished and you can vary the use of colour in both to give lots of different looks, as you please!
They are also nice as a picnic rug, lapghan or sofa throw; and the crochet one would create a lovely “floral” effect stole too!!
