CROCHET: A sweet little bikini and beach coverup jacket for girls. This pretty set is enough like a teenager style to please most little girls; but the opaque bandeau top construction and deep sided cut to the panties is sensible and modest enough to please their mummies (not to mention their daddies LOL!).
The top is plain treble (US DC) and the panties and coverup have a simple eyelet band patterning.
You could ring the changes with a cord or ribbon threaded through the slots to change the look. I think this would be nice with a cord tie at the jacket neck and a few seashells to dangle...
Or, it would also be a pretty used as a crochet bodice to a sundress or top with a gathered cotton skirt.
